Guidelines for Reporting Change of Residence for Foreigners (거주지변경신고)

Online Reporting for Foreigners and Domestic Residents: Changes in residence for both foreigners and domestic residents can be conveniently reported online.
Reporter: Registered Foreigner If you are registered as the head of the household in connection with your companion (F-3) at the competent immigration office, you and your accompanying family can be reported collectively.
Reporting Deadline: Report within 15 days from the date of moving into a new place of residence (residence).
If your residence is not a house signed in your name,
A copy of the identity card of the person providing the accommodation, a copy of the real estate contract, and a confirmation of provision of residential accommodation are required.
Online Processing Time: Processed within 3 days when reporting online (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays).
Online Civil Complaint Processing Procedure
Apply for Civil Complaint:
Sign up for Hi Korea (www.hikorea.go.kr).
Go to Electronic Civil Service.
Select "Report of Change of Residence/Report of Relocation of Residence".
Apply using the reporter’s public certificate (issued by a financial institution such as a bank).
Enter the road name and address of the new place of residence.
For F-3 related household heads, search and select household members.
Submit the application.
Receiving and Processing Civil Applications at the Competent Office: New employment and new residence standards. Even if there is an office close to your home, processing is not possible if it is not in your jurisdiction.
Check processing results on Hi Korea (My Page).
If a request for supplementation is received:
Visit Hi Korea > My Page > Electronic Civil Complaint Application Status.
Select the civil complaint for which supplementation has been requested.
Supplement the request and re-apply.
Note Regarding Change of Place of Stay or Residence: Whether or not the changed place of stay or residence is written on the back of the registration certificate:
When applying online, omit the changed place of stay or residence.
If you wish to emphasize it, please visit the immigration office and request the person in charge to write it.
