No Reservation Slots, and Time Is Short
What to actually do, in order
| HiKorea's online system won't let you book a same-day slot, but that's not the whole picture. Some offices separately run their own in-person same-day system. It's real, based on long experience, but never guaranteed, and it differs by office |

01. Call 1345 Yourself, First
| Do This Before Anything Else | Call it yourself, even from abroad, an international call is normal here, other teachers do this all the time. Give your own personal details and ask about your own case directly, this isn't something a friend or recruiter can do for you |
| Ask The Right Questions | Ask whether an official exception applies to your case, and whether a temporary no-reservation period is currently running for your office. Ask them, don't guess based on what worked for someone else |
| Not the Final Word | 1345 is a call center, not an official ruling. The actual officer handling your case in person can still ask for something different, treat what you hear as a starting point, not a guarantee |

02. What Officially Works, and What Doesn't
| Official Exceptions | Recognized categories for visiting without a reservation are pregnancy, infants, severe disability, age 70 and over, or urgent medical treatment with a doctor's note. An expiring ARC or a late contract change is not on that official list |
| Jurisdiction Only | Officially, only the office covering your registered address can handle your case. You may hear the occasional story of it working at another office, but that's not the official rule, don't plan around it |

03. Keep Checking While You Wait
| Cancelled Slots | Cancellations tend to reopen around midnight, but that's not the only time. Already having a reservation booked is not a reason to stop checking, keep looking for an earlier one until the day you actually go. Check two to three times a day, not once every couple of days, midnight and again around lunch is a solid habit. Real openings do show up this way, and teachers who keep at it move to an earlier slot when one appears |

04. If Time Is Still Critically Short
| Same-Day Number Tickets | Based on long experience, some offices post a same-day ticket schedule and hand out a fixed number at set times. From experience, staff often say no because genuine urgent cases already fill the day, but depending on the office and the day, same-day service does sometimes happen. This is not a guarantee, look for a posted sign at the office and expect it to vary by location and by day |
| It's a Request, Not a Right | Going to your jurisdiction office in person and explaining your situation to staff is something people do try. It can work. It can also end with being asked to come back. Go in with that expectation either way |
| Bring Everything | Have every document for your specific task complete and in order. Missing paperwork gives staff an easy reason to turn you away, on top of the reservation issue |
| What Some Teachers Do | Some visit the office a few days ahead just to see where people without an appointment actually line up, then return at least an hour before opening to be near the front of that line. This isn't an official process and isn't guaranteed, it's just a tactic some have used |

05. If You're Turned Away
| Get It In Writing | If staff tell you to come back, ask them to write down the return date or requirement rather than leaving with only a verbal instruction. Most immigration paperwork already has a spot noting when to come back, make sure you actually get that in hand before you leave |
| Don't Stop There | One office on one day saying no doesn't end your options. Go back to section 01 and section 03 and keep working the problem, cancelled slots and your next call to 1345 |
| If your ARC is close to expiring or your contract changed at short notice, message your BRIDGE recruiter as soon as you know. The earlier we hear about it, the more of these options are still open |
