D-10-1 Job Seeker Visa
※ Permitted activities include job seeking or on-the-job training (including short-term paid internship) at an organization or company in ROK.
Usually held by a graduate of a Korean community college or higher in the recent 3 years.
If you have a plan to apply for a D-10 visa, which allows you to stay in Korea while you are looking for new employment.
Immigration Office generally requires documents below:
1. Visa application form(Change of Status of Sojourn _available at the immigration)
2. Passport with at least 6 months remainder validity (original and copy of bio-data page)
3. A Passport size photo (3.5*4.5)
4. A Photocopy of ARC card (front & back)
5. Detailed plan for seeking employment.(available at the immigration)
6. Fee approximately 130,000 won
*Immigration office can require more documents if needed.
It may take about 2-4 weeks. It would need the same time when you apply from D-10 to E-2.
Without work as a teacher in school will be illegal. If so, your visa will be denied immediately.
